The following Terms and Conditions govern all sales of products, materials, and related services by Doors Near Me, LLC, whether the order is placed in person, by phone, email, text message, invoice, website, or any other communication with Doors Near Me, LLC or its representatives.
By placing an order, making a payment, approving an invoice, accepting delivery, or allowing installation to begin, the customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Order Policy
Orders may be accepted in person, by phone, email, text message, invoice, or through the Doors Near Me website.
Estimated processing times may vary depending on product availability, supplier lead times, custom specifications, delivery schedules, and shipping conditions. Typical estimated timeframes:
- In-stock / stock program items: Approximately 3–10 business days, plus shipping or delivery time.
- Special order / custom order items: Approximately 5–16 weeks, plus shipping or delivery time, depending on the product, supplier, factory schedule, and order specifications.
If an item is out of stock or delayed, Doors Near Me will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer and provide an estimated availability or delivery date. All dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Doors Near Me is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, freight carriers, weather, labor shortages, material shortages, customs delays, or other circumstances outside of its control.
2. Payment Policy
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all orders require payment before processing.
For stock, special order, and custom items, Doors Near Me may require a full or partial deposit at the time the order is placed. Orders may not be processed, released, delivered, or scheduled for installation until required payment has been received.
Customer understands that deposits and payments may be used to reserve, purchase, manufacture, prepare, ship, or otherwise process the ordered products.
Prices do not include taxes, delivery, freight, installation, hardware, modifications, disposal, permits, or other additional charges unless specifically listed on the invoice.
3. Pricing
Prices are based on the written quote, invoice, order confirmation, or website listing provided at the time of purchase.
Prices are subject to change before an order is paid and confirmed. Quotes may expire unless otherwise stated in writing.
Any modification to product size, finish, swing, jamb, casing, hardware preparation, glass, color, configuration, delivery, or installation requirements may result in additional charges.
Taxes, shipping, delivery, freight, handling, storage, installation, and other charges may be invoiced separately.
4. Return Policy
Special order, custom order, non-stock, modified, pre-hung, pre-cut, machined, drilled, painted, stained, assembled, altered, or otherwise specially prepared items are non-returnable and non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Custom-size doors
- Special-order doors
- Pre-hung doors
- Doors with jambs, casing, hinges, bore prep, or hardware preparation
- Doors that were cut, drilled, painted, stained, finished, or modified
- Items ordered specifically for the customer
- Items not regularly stocked by Doors Near Me
- Installed or partially installed products
No returns will be accepted unless previously authorized by Doors Near Me in writing.
Approved returns, if any, are subject to a restocking fee of 25% of the invoice price, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Shipping, delivery, freight, handling, installation, labor, and return shipping charges are non-refundable.
Returned goods must be unused, uninstalled, undamaged, in merchantable condition, and in the original packaging or wrapper condition as when purchased.
All returned goods are subject to inspection before any credit or refund is issued. Customer must provide proof of purchase for all returned goods.
No material will be accepted for return after 30 days from the date of delivery or pickup.
5. Cancellations and Change Orders
Orders are considered firm once placed.
Special orders, custom orders, modified items, pre-hung items, and non-stock items cannot be canceled once processing, ordering, manufacturing, preparation, or shipment has begun.
Any cancellation or change request must be submitted in writing and approved by Doors Near Me.
All cancellations and change orders are subject to charges for materials, labor, supplier fees, production costs, shipping costs, handling, or other costs already incurred before the cancellation or change request.
Doors Near Me will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation or change requests, but approval is not guaranteed. Customer remains responsible for the full price of any order that cannot be canceled or changed.
6. Delivery Policy
Delivery dates and times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Customer agrees to have an authorized person available at the delivery location to receive, inspect, and sign for the delivery.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, delivery is curbside, driveway, garage, front-door, or other accessible drop-off area at Doors Near Me’s discretion. Inside delivery, stairs, elevators, long carries, special handling, jobsite distribution, or additional labor may require extra charges.
Customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location is accessible, safe, and ready to receive the order.
Doors Near Me is not responsible for delays, additional charges, failed deliveries, re-delivery fees, storage fees, or damages caused by customer unavailability, restricted access, unsafe conditions, incorrect address, or inability to receive the order.
7. Receiving and Inspection of Products
Customer must inspect all products at the time of delivery or pickup and before signing any delivery receipt, bill of lading, invoice, or confirmation. Customer must check for:
- Visible damage
- Missing items
- Incorrect model
- Incorrect size
- Incorrect swing
- Incorrect finish
- Incorrect quantity
- Glass damage
- Hardware preparation issues
- Packaging damage
- Concealed damage, if reasonably discoverable
All visible damage, shortage, or discrepancy must be noted at the time of delivery or pickup. If delivery is made by a third-party carrier and the driver does not allow inspection, customer should note that on the delivery receipt or bill of lading.
Any damage, shortage, incorrect item, or discrepancy must be reported to Doors Near Me in writing within 48 hours of delivery or pickup. Failure to inspect and report issues within this timeframe may disqualify the customer from replacement, repair, refund, or claim assistance. Photos may be required for any damage, defect, missing item, or incorrect item claim.
8. Installation Inspection Requirement
Before installation begins, customer and/or customer’s installer must fully inspect all products for damage, defects, incorrect size, incorrect swing, incorrect finish, missing parts, or any other discrepancy.
Installation of a product confirms that the customer and/or installer accepted the product’s condition, size, configuration, and suitability. Claims for visible damage, incorrect item, incorrect size, incorrect swing, or other issues that could have been discovered before installation may be denied after installation begins.
Doors Near Me is not responsible for labor, removal, reinstallation, painting, finishing, trimming, modification, repair, or other costs related to installed products unless specifically agreed in writing.
9. Installation Services
If installation services are provided or arranged by Doors Near Me, the scope of work will be limited to the items specifically listed on the invoice or written agreement.
Installation pricing does not include unforeseen repairs, structural work, framing corrections, electrical work, plumbing, drywall, stucco, flooring, painting, staining, trim modifications, disposal, permits, code upgrades, or additional labor unless specifically stated in writing.
Additional charges may apply if existing openings, framing, walls, floors, measurements, or site conditions are different from what was represented or reasonably expected. Customer is responsible for ensuring the site is accessible, safe, and ready for installation.
10. Customer Pickup
Customer pickup may be available by appointment only. Customer or customer’s representative must inspect the products at the time of pickup and confirm receipt.
Once the order is picked up, customer assumes responsibility for transportation, handling, loading, unloading, storage, and any damage occurring after pickup. Doors Near Me is not responsible for damage caused by improper loading, securing, transportation, storage, or handling after pickup.
11. Storage Policy
Orders must be picked up, delivered, or scheduled for delivery within 30 days after the customer is notified that the order is ready, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Orders stored beyond 30 days may be subject to a storage fee of 10% of the invoice amount per week. Orders stored beyond 60 days may be subject to cancellation, resale, disposal, or additional storage charges at Doors Near Me’s discretion.
Deposits and payments may be forfeited to cover storage, handling, supplier charges, restocking, cancellation, and other costs.
12. Damaged or Defective Products
For any claim involving damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect products, customer must provide written notice and photos within the required inspection period.
Doors Near Me will review the claim and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement parts, replacement product, repair, supplier claim assistance, credit, or other remedy at Doors Near Me’s discretion.
Doors Near Me’s liability is limited to the cost of the affected product only. Doors Near Me is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, delay-related, installation-related, labor-related, business, rental, loss-of-use, or other damages.
13. Warranty
Products may be covered by the applicable manufacturer’s limited warranty, if any. Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer, product type, material, finish, and use conditions.
Warranty does not cover improper installation, improper storage, improper handling, misuse, abuse, jobsite damage, moisture exposure, excessive humidity, extreme temperature, direct sunlight damage, modification, painting or staining issues, normal wear and tear, settling of structures, or conditions outside manufacturer guidelines.
Doors Near Me does not provide any warranty beyond the applicable manufacturer’s warranty unless specifically stated in writing.
14. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall Doors Near Me be liable for any amount greater than the amount paid by the customer for the affected product.
Doors Near Me shall not be liable for delay damages, labor charges, removal costs, reinstallation costs, finishing costs, construction delays, lost profits, loss of use, business interruption, rental costs, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Customer agrees that the sole remedy for an approved claim shall be repair, replacement, credit, or refund for the affected product, at Doors Near Me’s discretion.
15. Overdue Balances
Any unpaid balance is due according to the invoice terms. Past-due balances may be subject to late fees, interest, collection costs, attorney’s fees, and any other costs permitted by law.
Doors Near Me may suspend processing, delivery, pickup, installation, warranty assistance, or future orders until all outstanding balances are paid.
16. Product Variations
Customer understands that wood, veneer, laminate, glass, paint, finish, color, grain, texture, and manufactured materials may vary from samples, photos, showroom displays, website images, or previous orders.
Minor variations in color, grain, texture, shade, pattern, and finish are normal and are not considered defects. Website images, catalog images, showroom displays, and samples are for general reference only.
17. Measurements and Specifications
Customer is responsible for confirming all measurements, sizes, swings, wall conditions, jamb depth, handing, opening requirements, hardware requirements, and product specifications unless Doors Near Me specifically agrees in writing to provide measurement services.
If customer provides measurements or specifications, customer is fully responsible for their accuracy. Doors Near Me is not responsible for products ordered incorrectly based on customer-provided measurements, specifications, photos, drawings, or descriptions.
18. Privacy
Doors Near Me respects customer privacy and will not sell customer personal information to third-party marketing companies.
Customer information may be used to process orders, payments, deliveries, installations, warranty claims, customer support, and business communications.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the invoice, quote, order confirmation, and any written agreement signed or approved by Doors Near Me, constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Doors Near Me.
Any verbal statement, estimate, representation, or promise that is not included in writing shall not modify these Terms and Conditions. Doors Near Me may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The terms in effect at the time of the order shall apply to that order.
